From the Streams
Walking Together in the Light
As children of God, we have been invited onto a common path: trusting God’s Word, following Jesus, listening to the Spirit, praying, worshiping, and learning to recognize God’s presence in every part of life.
The Practice of Wanting
What do you want?
When you hear that question, what comes to mind? For me, it’s a child being asked what they want for Christmas. They don’t shy away from the question — instead, they expound on the endless toys that make the list. They aren’t embarrassed by wanting; they eagerly share the desires of their hearts.
God in Real Time
What do you do when life knocks you off-balance? Or when a major blow does not simply disrupt you, but seems to level you?
3 Streams Institute News!
We are deeply grateful for your generosity toward the 3 Streams Institute (3SI) at Wellspring Church. We’re writing with joy to share some of the fruit of your partnership and how your support is helping us recruit, form, train, and send leaders for the Church.
What is Your Name?
This summer, going through the Ignatian exercises, I’ve been asking for the grace to tell my life-story truthfully, which has caused me to spend a lot of time thinking about questions. Questions we ask one another and ourselves; questions our hearts ask; and especially questions God asks us. Then I stumbled upon this gem of a question: What is your name? (Genesis 32:27)
Thoughts on Calling and Identity

Reflections from the 2025-26 3SI School Year
During a time of prayer earlier this week, we learned that one of our apprentices is a seer—someone who receives visions and pictures in their mind’s eye for the encouragement and building up of the people of God. That Tuesday, the images they received all carried the theme of water. One in particular has stayed with me, and it feels especially meaningful as we near the end of Year Two of 3 Streams Institute.
Foolish or Faithful
For most people, landing their dream job is the ultimate arrival. But for Mac Conn, it turned out to be a launching pad to something else altogether.
God With Us
WITH. What a beautiful, life-changing preposition.
Because Jesus became “God with us,” for those of us who have put our trust in him, he puts us in his family to be withone another also. We are given companions on this journey, those who will accompany us.
God With Us (Copy)
It took one call — less than an hour’s time — for Martha Haller to recognize that there was something very different about Wellspring Church. As she interviewed with Pastor Tara Malouf for an internship position with the 3 Streams Institute (3SI), Martha began to sense a promising peace.
