At 3 Streams, we believe that skill and character development occurs best in a thriving community of peers under the mentorship of seasoned leaders. Our curriculum follows a linear leadership development model that guides cohorts deeper in their ministry calling.
Curious about church leadership? Come explore your calling in the Anglican tradition through a nine-month, part-time internship. Spend 10–12 hours a week, including Sunday mornings, serving in different church ministries, learning alongside fellow Interns, and receiving guidance from experienced pastors. Together, you’ll explore spiritual formation, emotional health, leadership, and Anglican tradition as you listen for God’s voice and discern where he may be calling you. Tuition assistance or a living stipend is included.
Ready to take the next step in your calling? The apprenticeship offers those who have completed the internship a paid, part-time position serving in one church department for 20–25 hours a week. You’ll deepen your ministry experience with continued mentoring and professional development as you listen for God’s direction toward pastoral ministry and ordination. Apprentices receive a stipend for seminary or other ministry training, plus any support they raise.
Sensing a call to pastoral ministry in the Anglican tradition? The residency offers mid-career and second-career leaders, along with pastors from other denominations, a two-year, full-time salaried role on the pastoral staff as they pursue ordination in the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA). In your first year, you’ll serve on staff while moving through the ordination process. Your second year focuses on preparing for senior pastoral leadership or church planting. Like a teaching hospital, the residency brings learning and practice together, bridging seminary and parish ministry as you discern and follow God’s call.
